• Minimum of one (1) year prior experience in janitorial and maintenance duties.

• Physical effort required for this position on a daily basis when carrying out duties.

• Mental effort required when operating power tools, lawn and snow clearing equipment, etc.

• Will be required to enter into tenants’ home environments.

• Exposure to all elements of weather, dust, dirt, noise, odour, chemicals, etc., while carrying out duties.

• May have to interact with tenants who are in emotional crisis.

• May be exposed to household pests, cigarette smoke and other undesirable conditions.

• May be exposed to stressful, unpleasant/emotional situations when tenants have conflicts.

• Flexibility is required for this role, Ability to work staggered and/or afternoon shifts.

• Participation in an on-call rotation schedule to support after-hours operations (evenings, nights, and weekends) up to 3 weeks per quarter.
