Building Operator | Part-Time | Mattamy Athletic Centre

Operate building systems and contribute to the overall operations of the venue.

Work with external clients in the preparation and execution of events.

Work alongside the conversion crew during event setups and tear-downs.

Operate and maintain ice resurfacing machines and perform regular ice maintenance.

Assist with custodial duties to maintain building cleanliness.

Change light bulbs and batteries, and perform minor repairs as necessary.

Previous experience in an arena or recreation facility is considered an asset, including training with the ORFA.

Experience operating ice resurfacing machines is preferred. Ice resurfacing training can be provided for the right candidate.

Must be a self-starter with good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work in a team environment.

Excellent time management skills and an ongoing awareness of client satisfaction.

Must be able to work regular evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Experience with power tools is considered an asset.
