Building Maintenance Technician

Ashbury College is a leading not-for-profit independent day and boarding school for students in Grades 3 to 12 located in Canada’s capital and on the traditional, unceded territory of the Anishinàbe Algonquin Nation. Located in central Ottawa, Ashbury College is seeking two dependable and skilled Building Maintenance Technicians to support the year-round maintenance of our buildings, grounds, and campus facilities. This is a hands-on and physically demanding position involving both indoor and outdoor work. The successful candidate will perform general building repairs, preventive maintenance, groundskeeping, snow and ice removal, inspections, event setups, and other operational duties required to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment. The position requires someone comfortable performing sustained physical work, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and responding to changing campus priorities. The successful candidates must be able to safely and consistently perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where required.

You’ll report to the Supervisor of Buildings, Grounds and Projects.
