Building Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of tasks for general building upkeep and repair such as painting, landscaping, carpentry, and maintenance activities
• Performs safety checks throughout the facility, maintains warranties on equipment, and schedules or performs preventative maintenance
• Conducts routine facility inspections and identifies maintenance, safety, and facility improvement needs
• Assists with obtaining quotes, coordinating contractors, and monitoring completion of facility repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects to keep buildings in proper working condition
• Serves as a point of contact for vendors performing work at Company facilities
• Provides regular communication and documentation to stakeholders on activity status and work performance
• After hours and weekend call required on occasion to assist with security and facility response activities
• Supports facility maintenance, inspections, and improvement projects across all Company markets with regional travel required, as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in the use of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
