ABM UK is hiring an electrically biased Building Maintenance Engineer for a retail property in Bolton.

Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, testing, repairs, and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment.
- Complete non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks and update completed PPM work in the computerised maintenance system.
- Maintain engineering standards, site records, quality procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Inspect services, respond to call-outs and repairs, and attend site emergencies outside normal working hours when required.
- Work in plant rooms and at high level from platforms and ladders, while maintaining company-issued tools.
- Support other trades and complete associated management-requested tasks, including occasional security-related searches.
Essential requirements
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365-03) or an equivalent qualification.
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE qualification.
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent training.
- Demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering.
- Logical fault finding, good communication, teamwork, independent working, and a safety-focused approach.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- IPAF or PASMA certification is desirable.
- Knowledge of CAFM/CMMS, Microsoft Office, and Building Management Systems is desirable.
- HVAC and Building Services Engineering experience is desirable.
