Role Overview
Brokerage Admin Assistant III in the UK Brokerage process.
The role facilitates customs clearance for imported shipments while ensuring compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
The position includes multiple openings and is classified as Grade 8.
Schedule
- Rotational shifts operate across a 24/7 schedule.
- The work schedule is five days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, with two weekly days off.
- Overtime and holiday staffing support may be required according to business needs.
Customs Brokerage Duties
- Prepare, review, and submit customs entries for import shipments.
- Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and determine applicable duties and taxes.
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and other import documents for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import laws, and trade requirements.
- Meet expected productivity and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of import brokerage processes, customs regulations, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
