Broadcast Engineer

Act as the technical lead during deployment and integration activities.

Support installation teams and resolve complex technical challenges.

Ensure solutions are delivered in line with design specifications and customer expectations.

Configure, test and commission professional broadcast and media systems.

Lead commissioning activities across routing, switching, audio, control, networking and production platforms.

Support FAT, SAT and User Acceptance Testing.

Deliver technical and operational training to customers.

Produce as-built documentation, configuration backups and handover packs.

Support clients through operational readiness and system transition.

Minimum 5 years' experience within broadcast, media, production or systems engineering.

Proven experience delivering projects from requirements gathering through implementation and commissioning.

Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with:

HD, UHD and HDR workflows

SDI infrastructures

SMPTE ST 2022

Dante

AES67

NDI

JPEG XS

Broadcast synchronisation and timing systems

Working knowledge of:

TCP/IP

VLANs

QoS

Multicast Routing

Experience configuring and commissioning technologies such as:

AutoCAD, Visio, Revit or similar design software.

Ability to create accurate engineering documentation and technical drawings.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Experience troubleshooting complex hardware, software, networking and control systems in live environments.
