Lead and manage bridge and structural projects from planning through design and delivery
Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful project outcomes
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
Perform and review structural design calculations, plans, and specifications
Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of project deliverables
Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients to advance project goals
Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client outreach
Mentor and develop staff through technical guidance and project involvement
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET Accredited university. Master’s degree with a structural focus is preferred.
SE license required.
15+ years of combined experience in bridge and structural design and project management
Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects
Experience mentoring and developing staff
Experience in projects for clients such as IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, County DOT’s and local municipalities
Strong understanding of AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards
Proficient in MicroStation. Familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler a plus
Knowledge of design software (OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, Midas, STAAD)
Strong communication and client relationship skills
