Role Description
Act as the company’s single point of truth for brand-abuse intelligence.
You will independently monitor trademark registries, domains, app stores, social media, ad networks, and e-commerce sites, then deliver evidence-ready alerts that enable the Head of IP to move fast on oppositions, takedowns, and litigation.
Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Monitoring*
- Configure & Calibrate: Set up and fine-tune keyword, image, and similarity searches across all relevant digital channels.
- Rapid Triage: Conduct daily alert reviews; filter noise to surface genuine threats within an eight-hour window.
- *2.
- Risk Assessment*
- Impact Scoring: Evaluate each finding based on legal, financial, and reputational risk.
- Priority Routing: Escalate high-severity items to the Head of IP within 24 hours while managing a structured queue for lower-risk cases.
- *3.
- Evidence Preparation*
- Forensic Capture: Secure screenshots, WHOIS/DNS data, transaction flows, and metadata while maintaining a strict chain of custody.
- Filing Readiness: Package evidence for immediate use in opposition filings,UDRP/URS complaints, or court exhibits.
*4. Dashboard & Reporting*
- Live Oversight: Own a violation dashboard tracking case status, response times, and repeat-offender patterns.
- Stakeholder Digests: Deliver a concise weekly update to the Head of IP and a monthly trend report for Legal, Security, and Marketing.
*5. Tool & Vendor Optimization*
- Stack Refinement: Tune rules and filters in Corsearch, MarkMonitor, Netcraft, Cloudflare Brand Protection, or similar tools.
- Performance Tracking: Audit SLA performance; recommend tech or vendor pivots when detection speed or accuracy lags.

- Cross-Team Coordination*
- Intelligence Sharing: Provide Anti-Fraud, Compliance, and Marketing with fresh data on phishing URLs and impersonation ads.
- Enforcement Support: Assist in drafting takedown requests and cease-and-desist letters as required.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
- **3+ years in brand protection, IP monitoring, fraud analytics, or OSINT research, with proven success against phishing or trademark abuse.**
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on skill with trademark databases, WHOIS/DNS lookups, and basic HTML/HTTP concepts.
- Platform Expertise: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets plus one or more monitoring platforms (e.g., Corsearch, MarkMonitor, Red Points).
- Communication: Strong English writing skills; able to deliver clear, actionable risk briefings for executive leadership.
