Responsibilities
- Be the Ambassador of MARLI through all missions entrusted
- Share a moment with customers: decipher, ask questions, watch, and listen
- Create an impression and give a warm welcome to all customers
- Offer suitable selection and help customers make decisions
- Share passion for MARLI and take customers on an emotional journey
- Contribute to boutique commercial development by finding new customers and retaining existing ones
- Create new opportunities after concluding a sale and develop own customer portfolio
- Focus on driving consumer engagement, meeting/exceeding sales targets, and building brand awareness
- Contribute to attaining boutique collective targets by working with other sales staff
- Resolve customer issues in a timely manner

- Support training on standard operating procedures and coach Junior Brand Ambassadors
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Business Administration, International Management, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in sales (luxury preferred)
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in sales and service delivery and building performance against targets

Main Purpose
- The Brand Ambassador partners with the Boutique Manager and assists other Brand Ambassadors in the execution of plans and strategies for their store location. They support in store functions in relation to people management, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Customer Experience & Store Performance
- You will be the Ambassador of MARLI through all the missions entrusted to you.
- Sharing a moment with your customer: deciphering to know and understand, asking questions, watching, and listening.
- Creating an impression at MARLI and giving a warm and sincere welcome to all customers.
- Offering a suitable selection and helping the customer to make their decision: answering objections and identifying 'buy' signals.
- Sharing the passion for a MARLI imbued with a culture of strong values and history, taking customers on an emotional journey to discover the world of MARLI.
- Personifying MARLI’s values using established customs and a dress code.
- Contributing to the boutique’s commercial development by finding new customers and retaining existing ones.
- Creating new opportunities after concluding a sale and developing your own customer portfolio.
- Integrating a collective history and taking part in the life of the boutique.
- Highly focused on driving consumer engagement, meeting/exceeding sales targets, and building MARLI brand awareness and knowledge.
- Contributing to attaining the boutique’s collective targets by working in tandem with other sales staff.
- Contributing to customer feedback and different reports requested by MARLI’s headquarters.
Operational Excellence
- Performs store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company standards.
- Regularly review the company’s email and other communication tools to ensure applicable messages are shared with the Boutique Manager and to act on those messages in a timely manner.
- Actively participating in developing the customer database and MARLI’s CRM tools by consulting on and updating customer files.
- Cultivating your network, going even further by creating ties with intermediaries liable to enable us to discover new customers.
- Ensuring that security guidelines, cash desk procedures, and stock management rules are applied.
- Depending on your development and attainment of your objectives, you may also be given responsibilities in occasional missions such as Visual Merchandising, Stock management.
People Management & Engagement
- Support in training on standard operating procedures; ensure Junior Brand Ambassadors have the proper understanding of product and brand history.
- Coach and mentor Junior Brand Ambassadors to improve performance and develop key selling and operational skills that enhance customer experience.
- Actively participating in team meetings (suggestions, proposals) as well as in challenges, events, and occasional activities.
- Training via an In Store Trainer role: passing on messages from the Training team to the rest of the sales team.
- Drive Employee Engagement through performance recognition and development.
Events
- Inviting our customers and prospects to go even further into their immersion into MARLI by inviting them, as and when appropriate, to events and customer evenings organized by MARLI.
- Support the conception of retail events for the cluster with attention to client development and new customer acquisition.
- Coordinate and support retail event executions by overseeing event logistics (invitations, gifts, guest lists, Reservations, travel) and holding day to day contact with external suppliers in partnership with the PR Team.
- Coordinate (VIC) customer guest lists for events in collaboration with Boutique Sales Managers.
- Compile post event purchase analysis.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Business Administration, International Management, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in sales (luxury preferred)
Technical Skills / Abilities
- Comfortable with customer data analysis and interpretation
- Experience in sales and service delivery and building performance against targets
- Strong Knowledge of Inventory, Scheduling, and Replenishment
- Proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Language Skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
