BRANCH MANAGER – FREIGHT FORWARDING & LOGISTICS

Role Overview

Compensation

• The salary is AED 20,000 to AED 30,000 per month, with a competitive package based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the branch's commercial, operational, and financial performance, including revenue, profitability, budgets, and P&L.
• Develop business-growth and client-acquisition strategies and oversee air freight, sea freight, land transportation, and customs clearance.
• Maintain relationships with clients, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs authorities, and business partners.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, rates, and service contracts.
• Monitor service quality, costs, customer satisfaction, KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Lead and develop sales, operations, and customer-service teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, identify operational risks, implement corrective measures, and report recommendations to senior management.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of logistics or freight-forwarding experience, including at least 5 years in management or branch leadership.
• Direct UAE freight-forwarding experience and demonstrated ownership of P&L, budgeting, and commercial performance.
• Strong knowledge of sea freight, air freight, land transportation, and customs clearance.
• Business-development, client-management, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in business-management systems and Microsoft Office, with fluent English.
• An established UAE logistics network is highly desirable, and Arabic is highly preferred.
