Position Overview
The Branch Manager leads the entire branch operation.
The role is accountable for customer experience, team performance, quality standards, and sales and operational targets.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop supervisors, shift leaders, baristas, and front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Conduct team briefings, follow up on performance, and address issues professionally.
- Manage attendance, scheduling, breaks, performance, and disciplinary matters.
- Support high performers and their career progression.
Branch Operations
- Ensure smooth daily opening, operation, and closing of the branch.
- Maintain coffee, food, service, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Monitor stock, ordering, wastage, and inventory control.
- Ensure equipment and facilities remain maintained and operational.
- Follow standard operating procedures, food safety, hygiene, and health and safety requirements.
Sales and Business Performance
- Own branch sales and financial targets.
- Monitor sales, average transaction value, labor cost, COGS, wastage, and other KPIs.
