Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with GPS and route planning software.
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery vehicle to transport parts to designated customer locations according to a pre-planned route.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured and handled with care; may require lifting up to 50 lbs. and/or use of equipment for heavier lifting, pulling, or pushing.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, sales team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure safety and compliance.
