Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Bookkeeper/Office role based in Brookvale NSW.
- The Bookkeeper/Office team member will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and posting journal entries, and assisting with month end and year end reporting.
- The role will involve reconciling bank statements, supporting the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards.
- Day to day tasks may also include managing office documentation and coordinating with external accountants.
Qualifications
- Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate data entry, ledger maintenance, and preparation of journal entries (accounting).
- Experience with financial statements and finance fundamentals, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow monitoring.
- Proficiency with MYOB accounting software and related Microsoft office systems, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a small to medium sized business environment.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role, ideally within a product based or FMCG environment; relevant qualifications or certifications in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance are highly regarded.
- Ability to work on site in the Greater Sydney Area and maintain a professional, customer focused approach consistent with the company’s values.
