Body Shop Technician

Reporting to the Service Manager, the 310B Licensed Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing or replacing damaged body parts back to Pre-Accident Condition with factory and dealership specifications to meet or exceed the original factory fit and finish.

This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday to Friday.

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Removes and replaces interiors, trims and accessories to gain access to damaged areas.
• Repairs to fibreglass hoods, fenders and other transport truck components.
• Removes dents and repairs damaged surfaces or replaces damaged parts.
• Works with body fillers, glazes, primers and other painting materials.
• Grinds, files, sands, welds and refinishes surfaces.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, tools, and equipment.
• Complies with using proper use of PPE.
• Other mechanical repair work as required.

• 2 years of experience preferred in a Bodyshop environment Experience with repairing and replacing damaged body parts Work with a team and/or independently and follow instructions. High school diploma Criminal Record Check Driver's Abstract
