Role overview
Provide BMS service support for Johnson Controls customers and help shape the direction of their building management systems.
Work with clients, project delivery teams, and JCI business units to support service delivery and identify growth opportunities.
What you will do
- Deliver assigned service tasks efficiently and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Configure and commission building control systems and network-level controllers.
- Maintain system documentation and modify software programs using established standards.
- Document service activities and create service reports.
- Promote safety and adopt a Zero Harm mindset.
- Support Key Account Managers with project pricing and design.
- Advocate JCI cloud-based and OpenBlue technologies.
What we look for
- At least five years of experience in control systems as a service engineer.
- HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications or diplomas in relevant areas are welcomed.
- Working knowledge of Metasys systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Computer literacy, including the MS Office suite.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and join the out-of-hours callout rota.
Work arrangement
- This is a mobile field role involving work at various customer sites around Dublin, Ireland.
