Reporting to the Automation Manager, the BMS / HVAC Controls Technician works on a variety of equipment and devices to design, program, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair automation controllers/electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in buildings and other structures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement automation programming, design graphics, and handle commissioning for new construction projects while providing servicing for existing clients.
- Responsible for all Low Voltage Electrical work, including: Maintenance, service, installation and replacement or repair of motor control centers, switches, panelboard components, low voltage branch circuit wiring, transformers, control devices and IO devices; Troubleshooting and minor repairs on hardware and sensors; Shut-down, lock-out, and start-up of automation systems and building equipment

- Provides onsite estimating
- Offer expert recommendations for automation solutions
- Provides automation/controls support for the HVAC service team; assist with HVAC control installations in commercial buildings
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards, and performs other assigned duties as needed
