SACO seeks a Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee new projects and building maintenance operations across the region. The role involves supervising construction, coordinating maintenance teams, and managing budgets.

Responsibilities
- Participate and support in the preparation of new projects scope of works and cost studies in the assigned region
- Supervise, coordinate, follow up, monitor and report new projects construction in the assigned region
- Supervise, coordinate, implement and monitor region wide building maintenance operations
- Coordinate with SACO stores and premises managers and schedule regular visits for preventive and corrective maintenance
- Respond to regular building maintenance requests and solve emergency maintenance issues
- Organize, schedule and dispatch building maintenance teams
- Coordinate with manufacturer service companies for equipment breakdowns and periodic maintenance
- Search, evaluate and recommend qualified contractors and suppliers
- Prepare CAPEX/OPEX requests, payments, petty cash, travel expenses, overtime payments and approvals
- Handle petty cash for maintenance expenses and ensure proper spending and reporting
- Review and confirm monthly time sheets of Engineering staff
- Prepare weekly, monthly and year end reports for staff evaluation, expenses and accomplishments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years proven working experience as Projects or Building Maintenance Engineer
- Proficiency in drawing and planning software, MS Office and ERP software (e.g. SAP CRM)
- Proficiency in English language
- Customer service and sales oriented
- Supervisory, communication and negotiation skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Knowledge in contracts, project management, cost engineering and innovation management
- Knowledge in bid preparation and tendering
- Knowledge in quality control and assurance, coordination and resource planning

Job Summary
- Supervising, coordinating, implementing and monitoring the region wide New Projects and Building Maintenance operations ensuring the proper upkeep of SACO premises and facilities.
