Role Description

  • The Blue collar Recruiter is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring blue collar workers across multiple functions (such as logistics, maintenance, and facility services). Day to day tasks include posting job advertisements, reviewing application

Qualifications

  • Experience in end to end recruitment for blue collar or high volume roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor market dynamics in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE, including familiarity with blue collar job categories and skill levels.
  • Understanding of UAE labor laws, visa procedures, and compliance standards related to hiring and workforce management.
  • Ability to use applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and common office software to manage candidate pipelines and recruitment data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates from diverse backgrounds and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously and meet tight hiring deadlines.
  • Problem solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, non discriminatory hiring practices.
  • Prior experience in recruitment, HR, or staffing within the UAE or GCC region is preferred; a relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages commonly spoken by blue collar workers (e.g., Hindi, Swahili, Arabic) is an asset.
