Responsibilities
- Start up, run, and shut down blow molding machines according to production plan
- Adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) to maintain product quality
- Inspect molded parts for defects and reject non conforming output
- Record production data, downtime, and scrap for OEE tracking
- Perform mold changeovers and basic operator level maintenance
- Identify abnormal machine behavior and report to maintenance or supervisor
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area
- Complete shift handover reports and communicate issues
Requirements
- Experience operating blow molding machines
- Ability to adjust process parameters within approved limits
- Knowledge of quality inspection for molded parts

Purpose of the Role
- Operate and monitor blow molding machines to ensure production targets, quality standards, and equipment uptime are consistently met on assigned shifts.
Scope
- Covers day to day machine operation, first level quality checks, and routine data recording for blow molding production lines. Does not include electrical/instrumentation repair or advanced controls work.
Key Responsibilities
- Start up, run, and shut down blow molding machines according to the production plan
- Adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) within approved limits to maintain product quality
- Inspect molded parts for defects (wall thickness, weight, visual flaws) and reject non conforming output
- Record production data, downtime, and scrap for OEE tracking
- Perform mold changeovers and basic operator level maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, minor adjustments)
- Identify abnormal machine behavior and report/escalate to maintenance or shift supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in line with safety and housekeeping standards
- Complete shift handover reports and communicate issues to the incoming shift
