About the Role

Responsibilities
- Carry out block work using solid, hollow, or AAC blocks as per approved drawings
- Prepare and apply cement mortar for masonry and plastering works
- Ensure walls are level, plumb, aligned, and constructed to required dimensions
- Perform cement plastering to specified thickness and finish
- Repair and rectify masonry defects when required
- Use masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area
- Follow instructions of Site Supervisor/Foreman
- Comply with all project HSE requirements and wear required PPE
- Report any unsafe conditions or damaged tools to supervisor immediately
- Assist masons with block work, plastering, and other construction activities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials within work area
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Block and Plaster works
- Ability to read basic construction drawings is preferred
- Physically fit and capable of working on construction sites
- Previous construction site experience is preferred
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions

Job Summary
- The Mason is responsible for carrying out masonry works, including block laying, plastering, and related finishing activities in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities For Mason
- Carry out block work using solid, hollow, or AAC blocks as per approved drawings.
- Prepare and apply cement mortar for masonry and plastering works.
- Ensure walls are level, plumb, aligned, and constructed to the required dimensions.
- Perform cement plastering to the specified thickness and finish.
- Repair and rectify masonry defects when required.
- Use masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Follow the instructions of the Site Supervisor/Foreman.
- Comply with all project HSE requirements and wear the required PPE.
- Report any unsafe conditions or damaged tools to the supervisor immediately.
Key Responsibilities For Helper
- Assist masons with block work, plastering, and other construction activities.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials within the work area.
- Prepare mortar and assist in mixing construction materials.
- Clean work areas and dispose of waste materials in designated locations.
- Handle tools and equipment safely as instructed.
- Assist in setting up and organizing the work area before commencement of work.
- Follow the instructions of the Site Supervisor/Foreman.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Block and Plaster works.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of working on construction sites.
- Previous construction site experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions.
