Role Overview
The Body-in-White Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager deploys new products and equipment at Lucid.
The role works with project management, vehicle integration, design engineering, logistics, new product introduction, operations, and other teams to deliver BIW manufacturing lines to customer specifications.
Program Responsibilities
- Generate RFQs for BIW equipment and vet integrator proposals.
- Review project phases through start of production and follow up on open issues.
- Execute and document FAT and SAT buyoffs with integrators.
- Develop risk assessments and monitor design changes affecting equipment budgets and timelines.
- Report project updates to manufacturing leadership and maintain BIW equipment project charters.
- Coordinate requirements, resolve equipment design and installation issues, and manage on-site installation planning.
- Support launch readiness, handoff, scheduling, KPI definition, and engineering performance dashboards.
