Qualifications
- Education: Essential: * Associate Degree Education specialization: Essential: * Technical, Electronics or equivalent Military Training
- Experience: Essential: Patient care equipment maintenance, modification, testing, inspection, particularly electronic devices 3 years directly related experience Nonessential: No preferred experience
- Credentials: Nonessential: * AAMI National Medical Equipment Association Certification * Certified BioMedical Equipment Technician
- Physical Conditions: Lift, carry, push and/or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and items between 50 and 100 pounds or more with assistance Perform work in unusual positions using full body mobility with frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, twisting, and turning
- Working conditions: Essential: * May be required to work on ladders or scaffolding * Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE * May be required to travel to various work sites
