- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, technical, and vendor teams
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare technology environment in the GCC region is preferred

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Biomedical Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining medical equipment and systems used within healthcare and related environments.
- Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating repairs with vendors, and ensuring equipment complies with safety and regulatory standards.
- The role involves collaborating with clinical staff to understand user requirements, training users on proper operation, and documenting all service activities and equipment histories.
- The Biomedical Engineer will also contribute to equipment planning, technology assessments, and continuous improvement of biomedical engineering practices to support reliable and efficient clinical operations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to medical technology and healthcare settings.
- Practical experience with Medical Equipment, including installation, configuration, testing, and performance verification.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, with skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of biomedical devices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering field; advanced certifications in medical equipment management are an advantage.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices relevant to medical devices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, technical, and vendor teams, with clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
