Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on biomedical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical hardware and software errors on site at hospitals, clinics, and medical labs
- Validate and calibrate equipment regularly to protect patient safety and maintain diagnostic accuracy
- Educate healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and operators on the safe, optimal handling of devices
- Keep accurate, updated service logs, asset inventories, and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to manufacturer standards, local healthcare laws, and hospital safety protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 2 years of active experience in medical equipment servicing or maintenance
- Must be currently available and residing in the UAE
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Strong technical troubleshooting, detail oriented, and reliable time management abilities
- Excellent spoken and written English skills

Job Purpose
- The Junior Biomedical Engineer will handle installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical and diagnostic devices.
- You will assist senior engineers, interact with healthcare clients, and ensure all medical equipment operates safely, effectively, and in compliance with UAE regulatory frameworks (including DHA, DOH/HAAD, and MOH).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on biomedical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical hardware and software errors on site at hospitals, clinics, and medical labs.
- Validate and calibrate equipment regularly to protect patient safety and maintain diagnostic accuracy.
