Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, label, and process patient samples according to SOPs.
- Perform routine laboratory testing in the assigned department.
- Handle sample processing, accessioning, and proper sample storage.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and laboratory documentation.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Operate laboratory equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Identify sample discrepancies and inform the concerned senior.
- Coordinate with senior technicians, pathologists, and other departments.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure timely processing and dispatch of samples or results.
Qualifications
- DMLT, ADMLT, B.Sc. MLT, B.Sc. Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology qualifications are listed as alternative paths.
- Relevant M.Sc. candidates may also be considered.
