About the Role
To work as part of our Services Team to provide BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as an MEP BIM Modeler within the WSP in India in our Noida office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to BIM Lead in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.

Responsibilities
- Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations
- Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualizations
- Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model

Qualifications
- Have good English communication skills
- Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months to the UK Must have good working knowledge of Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications and database software.
- Ability to plan and manage his/her workload Lateral thinking
- Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being used
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical engineering is preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications
- 5+ year's production experience in design, drafting and engineering with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record
- Key Competencies / Skills:
- Experience in the use of the following software is essential:
- BIM MEP
- AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Navisworks
- Experience in the use of the following software is desirable but not essential:
- Autodesk 3ds MAX
- MS Excel
- MS Word
- BGV:
- Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
- Candidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process — including documents uploaded — is accurate and complete, both to WSP India and its BGV partner”.
