BIM Specialist – Architect

Role overview

Model development and coordination

• Create, manage, and update detailed architectural and structural 3D models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools.
• Coordinate architecture, structure, MEP, civil, and interior design teams to produce a fully integrated building model.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to review progress and resolve model conflicts.

Clash detection and risk management

• Conduct clash detection with Navisworks or similar software and resolve conflicts between building systems.
• Identify design risks and constructability issues early, then develop BIM-based solutions to prevent delays.

Documentation and quality

• Generate architectural and structural drawings, schedules, reports, shop drawings, and construction documents from BIM models.
• Apply luxury project requirements for bespoke finishes, high-end materials, and custom features.
• Implement BIM quality control procedures and ensure compliance with project quality protocols, BIM execution plans, and industry standards.

Training and development

• Provide BIM training and technical support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with BIM technologies, tools, workflows, and sustainable building innovations.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, structural engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of BIM management experience, including at least 8 years on high-end luxury building projects in construction.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
• Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and detailed architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, high-end finishes, BIM execution plans, and industry standards.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver precise results under tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• BIM management or Autodesk Revit certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional.
• Experience in PMC environments and large-scale luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green technology integration.
