BIM Manager (Airport Projects)

Job Summary

BIM Management

• Review, manage, and monitor the Contractor’s BIM Execution Plan, BIM deliverables, submissions, schedules, and compliance with project milestones.
• Ensure BIM processes and deliverables comply with project requirements, standards, and information management procedures.

Coordination and Quality

• Oversee architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and specialist airport systems coordination, including federated models, clash detection, interfaces, model quality, LOD compliance, and data integrity.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings, resolve clashes and technical interfaces, and provide technical comments and recommendations on BIM submissions.

Digital Handover and Reporting

• Verify as-built BIM models and asset information against project and handover requirements.
• Support digital asset management and integration with facilities management and asset management systems.
• Prepare BIM status reports, dashboards, coordination reports, and management updates, and support continuous workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of BIM experience, including large-scale construction, infrastructure, or airport projects.
• Proven experience as a BIM Manager or BIM Lead on major multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, BEP, LOD, model coordination, clash detection, and information management.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with as-built BIM, asset information, digital handover, and FM integration is preferred.
• Airport project experience involving terminals, aviation facilities, infrastructure, or specialist airport systems is highly desirable.

• The listed work location model is on-site in Doha.
• New employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
