BIM Engineer- Mechanical

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models in Revit MEP from approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Model and coordinate HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, chilled water, refrigerant piping, and smoke management.
• Model and coordinate plumbing systems, including drainage, water supply, hot water, storm water, and associated services.
• Prepare BIM models, shop drawings, coordination drawings, layouts, sections, and construction details.
• Perform MEP coordination and clash detection and resolve conflicts across architectural, structural, electrical, and other services.
• Review drawings and specifications to confirm model accuracy and construction suitability.
• Coordinate with design engineers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other disciplines on technical and modeling issues.
• Update models for design revisions, RFIs, site changes, and approved coordination requirements.
• Support as-built BIM models and final MEP documentation based on actual site installation.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, LOD requirements, naming conventions, and document control procedures.
• Assist with BIM-related technical issues and maintain deliverables within the required schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
• Three to four years of BIM or MEP experience, with relevant experience of four years required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical MEP systems.
• Experience in MEP coordination, clash detection, shop drawings, and construction documentation.
• Ability to read MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Good knowledge of UAE building construction practices and MEP coordination requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE building construction experience is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 per month.

• Work location is in person.
