Role Description
The BIM Coordinator manages and coordinates Building Information Modeling activities across multidisciplinary project teams.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh.
The position oversees BIM workflows, maintains model standards, and supports accurate information exchange among architecture, structural, and MEP stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and update project models, perform clash detection, resolve coordination issues, and prepare model-based documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers to support project delivery and improve model quality.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and train team members on BIM best practices.
- Support new BIM tool implementation and continuous improvement of digital project delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Strong BIM coordination skills, including multidisciplinary model management and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in BIM platforms and tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols.
- Background in Architecture or a related built-environment discipline.
- Ability to interpret drawings, models, and specifications.
- Knowledge of MEP systems and their coordination within integrated BIM models.
- Project management skills for planning BIM activities, tracking progress, and supporting delivery.
- Experience in clash detection, issue tracking, and reporting for design and construction teams.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal and external teams.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Prior BIM coordination experience on medium- to large-scale projects; Saudi or GCC market experience is advantageous.
