Role overview
Billing Engineer position for interior fit-out projects and construction work across India.
The company delivers design and build, MEP, façade, PEB, and civil construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and verify client RA bills, contractor bills, and final bills.
- Measure and quantify executed site work according to drawings and BOQs.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, clients, and consultants for billing approvals.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and reconciliation statements.
- Track project progress and maintain billing documentation.
- Process subcontractor bills and verify work completion.
- Prepare variation orders, extra item statements, and rate analyses.
- Submit bills on time and follow up on approvals and payments.
- Maintain project MIS for billing and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and company standards.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience in billing for interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and rate analysis.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing documentation.
- Familiarity with project drawings, contracts, and billing procedures.
