Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and age appropriate care for the children
- Communicate with the children primarily in Spanish to support language learning and fluency
- Plan and engage in educational and creative activities, including reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and maintaining daily routines
- Support homework and learning activities where appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized environment related to the children, including toys, play areas, and children's laundry
- Accompany the children to school, extracurricular activities, appointments, or playdates as required
- Monitor the child's health, safety, and emotional well being at all times
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's progress, routines, and any concerns
Requirements
- Fluency in spoken Spanish (native or near native proficiency preferred)
- Previous experience as a nanny, childcare provider, or in a similar role
- Basic English communication skills are an advantage
- Genuine love for working with children and supporting their development
- Patient, reliable, trustworthy, and energetic personality
- Knowledge of child development and age appropriate activities
- First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage
- Valid driver's license (if driving is required)
