Job Overview
- Cynet Systems is seeking a Bilingual Business Analyst (Data Management) for a contract position in Montreal, Quebec.
Requirement/Must Have
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
- 5 7+ years of professional experience ideally in data governance or data privacy and as a business analyst.
- Preferred experience in data management, governance, privacy, controls, or process improvement.
- Experience preparing senior management presentations and large data sets.
- Elevated level of ability in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data privacy procedures, guidelines, and training materials in line with regulatory requirements.
- Work with Business and Functions teams to ensure data privacy measures are integrated across all functions and that there is proper governance of personal data.
- Perform Privacy Impact Assessments to ensure the organization's data processing activities meet privacy standards.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the inventory of data processing activities, ensuring proper documentation and categorization of personal data being collected, stored, or shared.
- Conduct regular privacy awareness training for employees to educate them about best practices and regulatory obligations related to data privacy.
- Evaluate potential risks related to data processing activities and third party vendor data handling and recommend mitigations to reduce exposure.
