Big Data Architect

Salary: QAR 40,000 per month

Geomatic Onseil LLC is seeking an innovative and highly experienced Big Data Architect to join our technology division in Doha, Qatar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable big data solutions that support advanced analytics, digital transformation, and enterprise-wide business intelligence initiatives.

Key responsibilities include architecting large-scale data platforms, developing data pipelines and integration frameworks, optimizing data storage and processing systems, and ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of enterprise data environments.

The Big Data Architect will collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

The role also involves evaluating and implementing modern data technologies, overseeing cloud-based data infrastructure, supporting machine learning and AI initiatives, and establishing data governance and best practices across the organization.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in managing structured and unstructured data systems while ensuring high standards of performance and data integrity.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with extensive experience in big data architecture and enterprise analytics environments.

Strong expertise in technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, ETL frameworks, and data warehousing solutions is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent analytical thinking, technical leadership, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex data ecosystems and support innovative business solutions.
