The Bed Management Representative works under the supervision of the Project Manager.
The Bed Management Representative receives reservation information from the physician or physician's office.
Designates and coordinates bed assignment, evaluating priority of admissions per administrative guidelines and patient diagnosis, coordinates with Care Managers upfront regarding physician orders and planned treatment to ensure proper placement of the patient in the bed.
Contacts service areas to prepare for patient's arrival.
Coordinates all patient transfers and tracks bed availability.
