Position Summary

Bartender role at the St. Regis Bar in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

The position focuses on memorable beverage experiences, broad guest service, and anticipatory hospitality.

The role is non-management and supports a safe, professional, high-quality hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor beverage trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving guest needs.
  • Act as a host and take ownership of guest service beyond the bar.
  • Keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly using beverage knowledge and expertise.
  • Build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
  • Pay close attention to money handling, guest information, and drink quality.
  • Follow policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a standalone or high-end specialty bar or restaurant is strongly preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.

Schedule and Work Environment

  • The position is full time and located at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
  • The role is not remote and requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
  • The role includes moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping, including handling objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
