Position Summary

The position is a non-management Bartender - Pool & Beach role at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.

The role focuses on beverage preparation, bar operations, payment processing, guest service, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare drinks according to recipes and measuring systems.
  • Open and serve wine and champagne bottles.
  • Maintain the bar, bar unit, tables, tools, and service areas.
  • Prepare garnishes and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Process payments, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Secure beverages, storage areas, and company assets.
  • Complete closing duties and follow safety and security procedures.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and respond to concerns.
  • Maintain professional communication and positive working relationships.
  • Stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and work across uneven or confined areas as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • The role requires clear professional communication, a clean professional appearance, and adherence to safety and security policies.
  • The role requires standing or walking for extended periods and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • The role requires movement through narrow, confined, elevated, uneven, slippery, or stair-accessed areas.

Work Location and Schedule

  • The position is located at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, in Doha, Qatar.
  • The schedule is full time and the role is not remote.
