Position Summary

Deliver memorable and unique guest experiences through beverage service and broader hospitality support.

Serve as both a beverage specialist and host who anticipates and responds to evolving guest needs.

Maintain the Library Bar's presentation and operation while collaborating across the hotel and community.

Bartender Responsibilities

  • Prepare beverages while staying aware of trends, micro-local offerings, and guest preferences.
  • Take ownership of guest service beyond the bar and provide accurate information to guests.
  • Maintain the bar so it looks and functions flawlessly.
  • Build relationships with hotel colleagues and community partners to support guest needs.
  • Pay close attention to drink quality, guest information, and the money handled through the role.

Work Environment

  • The role is full time and not remote.
  • Bartenders stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform hands-on work involving reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualification

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience, license, or certification is required.
