Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programs covering coffee preparation techniques, equipment operation, food safety standards, and customer service best practices.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, coaching sessions, and assessments to ensure baristas meet brand and quality standards.
- Update training materials and monitor performance on the shop floor.
- Provide feedback to baristas and management.
- Support new store openings or staff onboarding.
- Maintain training records and recommend improvements to service processes.
- Help create a positive, service focused workplace culture.
Requirements
- Strong technical barista skills including espresso extraction, milk steaming, manual brewing methods, and familiarity with café equipment and maintenance.
- Experience in training or mentoring staff, with ability to design and deliver engaging workshops, demonstrations, and on the job coaching.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic health and safety practices in a café or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation and understanding of hospitality and retail operations.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Previous experience as a senior barista, barista trainer, or café supervisor.
- Ability to work on site in Doha and adapt to a multicultural work setting.
- Proficiency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
- Basic computer skills for preparing training materials and reports; familiarity with POS systems is beneficial.

Role Description
- The Barista Trainer is a full time, on site role based in Doha, responsible for training and developing baristas to deliver consistent, high quality coffee and beverage service.
