Barista

Making hot and cold drinks to spec – a fantastic way to show off your latte art skills or learn new ones.

Operating the till, processing cash and card transactions, upselling products and sizes and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

General cleaning of the unit, including sweeping/mopping the dining areas, rubbish disposal, general clean down of the unit and ensuring all designated cleaning tasks are complete.

Serving prepackaged / made to order food and cakes – ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed.

Stocking up and rotating stock daily, ensuring the unit stock is faced up throughout the day and dated correctly.

Strong customer service skills with a positive, welcoming attitude.

Ability to work under pressure during busy periods while maintaining quality.

Good communication skills and a team player mindset.

Attention to detail, especially when preparing drinks.

Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and till operations.

Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.

Willingness to learn about coffee, equipment, and shop procedures.

Previous barista or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential (training can be provided).
