Position Overview
Dip and Dip Caffe is hiring a barista focused on coffee and beverage preparation, equipment operation, consistency, inventory, cleanliness, and front-of-house support.
Employment and Schedule
- The position is full-time.
- The barista must be available for weekends, public holidays, and closing shifts.
Coffee and Beverage Duties
- Prepare hot and cold beverages including espresso, latte, cappuccino, Americano, mocha, iced coffees, and teas according to company recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and water filtration systems.
- Perform basic latte art, including hearts, rosettas, or tulips, for brand presentation.
- Maintain drink consistency through correct shot timing, milk temperature, syrup portions, and glassware.
Operations and Guest Service
- Stock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other beverage supplies using FIFO inventory rotation.
- Follow daily cleaning checklists for coffee machines, counters, workstations, and storage areas.
- Greet guests, take orders, explain beverage options, and handle basic cashier duties.
- Assist with light dessert assembly by adding chocolate sauces or toppings when needed; crepe or fountain operation is not required.
Requirements
- Candidates should have 1–2 years of barista experience in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant.
- Confident use of commercial espresso machines and grinders is required.
- Fluent English is required.
- Basic to intermediate latte art is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates should be friendly, fast, clean, and team-oriented.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 3,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person in Doha.
