Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high quality espresso based beverages according to company standards
- Prepare and maintain consistency in milk based drinks
- Demonstrate proficiency in manual brewing methods, including V60 and other filter coffee techniques
- Prepare smoothies and other menu items as required
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the workspace
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained
- Assist with stock management and inventory organization
- Deliver professional and welcoming customer service
- Follow operational procedures and quality standards established by the Head Barista
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a café or coffee shop environment
- Experience preparing espresso based beverages and milk based drinks
- Good understanding of V60 and manual brewing methods
- Strong interest in specialty coffee and continuous learning
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

About the Role
- Clarity Coffee is seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior Barista to join our team.
- The successful candidate will work closely with our Head Barista and will receive ongoing training to further develop their specialty coffee skills while maintaining our quality standards.
- This role is ideal for a barista who already has café experience and is looking to grow within a specialty coffee environment.
