We are looking for a
Matcha Bar Barista
at our Address JBR location who understands that exceptional service is in the details and takes pride in delivering a refined, consistent, and memorable client experience.
The Role
As part of Matcha Moto at Mind & Motion, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality beverage experience that complements the studio’s calm, design-led atmosphere.
This role goes beyond preparing drinks—it is about creating a moment for every client.
Client Experience & Service
- Deliver a warm, welcoming, and polished service
- Create a calm, elevated environment aligned with both brands
- Engage clients in a professional and personable manner
- Anticipate preferences and provide thoughtful recommendations
- Handle all interactions with attentiveness and discretion
Beverage Preparation & Quality
- Prepare matcha-based beverages to a consistently high standard
- Maintain precision in taste, texture, and presentation
- Develop strong knowledge of matcha, ingredients, and techniques
- Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards
- Ensure consistency across every drink served
Sales & Client Engagement
- Recommend beverages and retail products naturally and confidently
- Support revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling
- Build relationships with regular clients
- Assist in promoting new and seasonal menu items
- Contribute to strong daily sales performance
Bar Operations & Presentation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually refined bar space
- Ensure equipment is properly handled and maintained
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs proactively
- Follow opening and closing procedures with accuracy
- Uphold a premium, boutique aesthetic at all times
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with studio and reception teams
- Support front desk operations when required
- Maintain clear and professional communication
- Adapt to the needs of the business and support overall operations
- What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a café, barista, or hospitality role (matcha experience is a plus)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
