About the Role
UMB Bank is seeking a Bank Operations Onboarding Specialist to partner with business units and analysts to onboard new and existing treasury services clients. The role involves configuring systems, testing, and ensuring client satisfaction in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities
- Proactively develop relationships with relationship and treasury service teams to identify solutions and improve client experience.
- Understand client expectations and execute onboarding treasury needs.
- Respond with urgency to internal and external client calls, questions, and concerns.
- Work in collaboration with the Relationship Team while setting clear expectations regarding deliverables and due dates.
- Ensure client satisfaction through quality service and coordinating client needs with other functions.
- Complete, track, and QC customer changes including adding/deleting accounts, adding new users, updating user profiles, and maintenance of existing users.
- Configure application enabled business systems.
- Construct test cases, develop test scripts, and facilitate appropriate testing of new services.
- Provide leadership, management, and guidance for all aspects of the assigned request.
- Validate production implementation.
- Act as system liaison between UMB operations business units, treasury implementations teams, and clients.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in banking or financial services
- At least 3 years of Operations support or business systems analysis experience
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Solid time management skills and self motivation
- Ability to work independently as well as in team environments
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Solid decision making or problem solving ability
- Knowledge and understanding of Cash Management products and services

Role Overview
- As the Bank Operations Onboarding Specialist, you will partner with business unit stakeholders and Bank Operations business systems analyst teams to successfully onboard new and existing client treasury services.
- You will also work with partners to find solutions for client set ups based on their unique needs.
- This role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on site / Fri remote) at the UMB Technology & Operations Center located in downtown Kansas City, MO.
How You Will Spend Your Time

- Knowledge and understanding of BAW, Hogan, FileNet, Lockbox, Positive Pay, ImageCentre, and UMB Wire applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory issues such as the Bank Secrecy Act, FACTA, and NACHA Rules.
Compensation Ranges
- US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York: $54,220 $79,020
- US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin: $49,510 $72,340
- US Employees in all other states not listed above: $44,790 $65,650
