The Backlink Building Intern will support the SEO team by executing high-quality link-building strategies.
The role focuses on backlink outreach, guest posting, niche edits, and other off-page SEO techniques.
Location
- The internship is remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical white-hat SEO techniques.
- Conduct backlink outreach and build relationships with website owners, bloggers, and publishers.
- Identify relevant guest posting, niche edit, and link insertion opportunities.
- Perform competitor backlink analysis to identify new link-building opportunities.
- Maintain and update backlink databases and outreach trackers.
- Ensure backlinks come from high-authority, relevant websites.
- Monitor backlink performance and provide regular progress reports.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to improve domain authority and organic rankings.
- Follow Google's SEO guidelines and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Prior hands-on experience in backlink building and off-page SEO is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of guest posting, niche edits, directory submissions, and outreach.
- Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, or similar SEO tools.
- Ability to identify high-quality backlink opportunities.
- Excellent communication and email outreach skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Internship Terms
- The internship is unpaid.
- The duration is three to six months.
