About the Role
The Backend Software Engineer will work on Notifications (Pigeon), a shared platform service used by multiple Corporater products.
This hands-on product engineering role focuses on reliability, scalability, integrations, consistency, solution design, architecture, technical decisions, and product discovery.
The role is in India within Product Engineering and requires 4+ years of experience.
What You Will Do
- Build and evolve the Notifications platform and shared capabilities.
- Develop services for notification definitions, templates, profiles, and communication workflows.
- Integrate with external mail providers, including SMTP and Mailjet, and manage provider failures, retries, and delivery status.
- Work with event-store architecture, append-only storage, projections, replay, ordering, idempotency, and state rebuilding.
