Job Overview
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate-level position supporting new or revised application systems and programs.
The role contributes to application systems analysis and programming activities in coordination with the Technology team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, model development, and system implementation.
- Monitor development through analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user support.
- Analyze complex issues, evaluate business and system processes, and recommend programming and security solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and help define operating standards and procedures.
- Coach lower-level analysts and operate with autonomy under limited direct supervision.
- Act as a subject matter expert and assess technology, compliance, and control risks with transparent escalation.
Recommended Qualifications
- Seven to twelve years of experience designing and developing enterprise applications with Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or MQ messaging and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Lightspeed build management, and OpenShift deployments.
