Aries is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its engineering team.
The role is described as fully remote with flexibility on working hours.
The engineer will own backend systems from architecture through deployment.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend infrastructure for trading platforms and developer products.
- Architect and implement backend services in Go.
- Design APIs, data models, and distributed systems that scale reliably.
- Ensure performance, resilience, and fault tolerance in production environments.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and growth teams to deliver features from concept to launch.
- Contribute to systems architecture in a modern cloud-native environment.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang).
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases and messaging systems.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker or Kubernetes.
- A proven track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Ability to contribute to systems architecture and lead backend engineering discussions.
