Role Overview
CashKaro is seeking an experienced Backend API Developer for its Chennai technology team.
The role builds, maintains, and scales secure, reliable, high-performance microservices and APIs.
The position is open to Java, Go, Python, or Node.js, with strong microservices experience and hands-on AWS API Gateway and MySQL experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate APIs with applications and services.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize APIs for high traffic, low latency, caching, and query performance.
- Configure AWS API Gateway routing, authentication, rate limiting, security, and observability.
- Implement OAuth, JWT, authentication, authorization, input validation, and other API security controls.
- Monitor service health, debug production issues, identify bottlenecks, and resolve application bugs.
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to deliver features and improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality.
